Accessibility statement

This statement applies to Greenhead Jobs, the online job application system at jobs.greenhead.digital. It does not cover the main Greenhead College website, which has its own accessibility statement.

This system is run by Greenhead College. We want as many people as possible to be able to apply for a job here. That means you should be able to:

• change colours, contrast levels and fonts in your browser
• zoom in up to 400% without the page breaking or text being cut off
• complete the whole application using a keyboard alone
• complete the whole application using a screen reader or speech recognition software
• take as long as you need — there are no time limits other than the closing date, and no CAPTCHA to solve

We have also made the text as simple as possible to understand. AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, because of the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content and what we are doing about it

We are not aware of any part of this system that fails the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. We are saying “partially compliant” rather than “fully compliant” because of what we have not yet finished testing, which is not the same thing as knowing it works:

• Testing with a screen reader and by keyboard alone is not complete. Automated testing runs on every change we make, but automated tools find only about a third of real accessibility problems. Until people have tested these pages by hand, we cannot claim full compliance.
• An independent accessibility audit has not yet taken place. One is planned before the system opens to applicants.
• The online application form is not built yet. This statement will be updated to cover it, and it will be tested, before anyone can use it.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 8 September 2026. It was last reviewed on 8 September 2026.

This website was last tested on 8 September 2026. Testing was carried out by Greenhead College using automated checks (axe-core) against every page, at both a mobile and a desktop screen size, as part of the process that builds the system — so every change is tested rather than every release. We chose this approach because it catches common failures immediately, and we are clear about its limit: it does not replace testing by people, which is why the compliance status above is “partially compliant”.
